Ceragenix is developing next generation prescription therapies and products based on its two platforms of technologies both of which mimic key components of the innate immune system— CeraShield™ and Skin Barrier Repair Technology (BRT).
Our goal is to become a market leader in developing novel and high-impact therapies and medical products for selected markets in infectious disease and dermatology. The Company seeks to enjoy early revenue opportunities from its first and recently FDA cleared skin Barrier Repair Therapy product EpiCeram® and will use this cash flow to focus on development of our CeraShield™ antimicrobial technology for medical devices which is designed to reduce the morbidity, mortality and healthcare costs associated with hospital acquired infections associated with indwelling medical devices.
Headquartered in Denver, Colorado, Ceragenix Pharmaceuticals Inc. was launched as a public company in 2005 after completing the acquisition of Osmotics Pharma, Inc. The Company has maintained a lean infrastructure, leveraging contract research partners and academic labs for initial proof of concept studies.
